EPC814 Highlights

In addition to the correction of a number of reported issues, EPC814 delivers one important alteration worth highlighting. In EPC814, LANSA Client has been enhanced to support the Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime Engine*, a free-of-charge engine which can execute reports developed in Crystal Reports XI and Crystal Reports 2008. 
* The Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime Engine is free-of-charge provided that you have purchased at least one copy of Crystal Reports 2008 Developer Edition.

Instructions to install the EPC

EPC814 includes software to be installed on a Windows machine. These instructions describe the installation and use of all delivered items.

  1. Download EPC814.exe file (Windows install executable) from the Web site or email.
  2. Double click EPC814.exe to launch the LANSA Client EPC installation.

Install Instructions

Instructions for installing on Windows

  1. Stop using the LANSA Client application.
  2. Double-click on EPC814.exe.
  3. Select the "Setup" button or "Cancel" if you do not want to proceed.
  4. If you are prompted to reboot your pc - please reboot.
  5. To view details of the installed EPCs open the EPC.DAT file in the LANSA Client install directory
